30 days cancellation prior to start of workshop: 100% refund
15-29 days or more cancellation notice prior to start of workshop: 50% refund.
Less than 14 days notice: No refunds.
No-shows or workshops that you are unable to complete for any reason, as well as missed sessions, are non-refundable.
Classes missed due to illness or emergency may be made up as a private lesson at the rate of $30 per hour.
Class transfer, i.e., your schedule changes and you want to take a different class or series of classes.
30 days prior to start of workshop: $10 processing fee
15-29 days prior to start of workshop: $25 processing fee
Less than 14 days: No transfer available
Classes with only one person signed up may still be held at the discretion of the instructor with a reduced class time. If the class is not held due to low enrollment, a refund will be issued, or payment can be transferred to another session.
For missed group lessons, you may reschedule a private lesson at the rate of $30 per hour to cover what was missed in the lesson. Generally, a two-hour private lesson covers the same material as a 3-hour group lesson. There is the possibility of attending one sewing lab to finish up your project if you miss a class. Please note that sewing labs are not beginner-level sewing classes and will not cover topics such as cutting out garments and how to use your machine. Therefore, it is important that you attend the first two classes of a series if possible.
Returned check fee: there is a $25 charge for returned checks.
